Congratulations to the Class of 2013
To the Drama students of the EGRHS class

EGRHS, and the friends you have made both inside and outside of the Drama program.
Pursue your dreams! We always love hearing from our alumni, so stay in touch, come back when you can,
and even attend an EGRHS drama production if possible!

How YOU can Make a Difference!
There are many ways you can help out the EGRHS Drama Program. Here are just a few:
- First, if you are a parent of a student involved in the Drama program, please consider joining the EGRHS Stage Boosters. This friendly and fun group meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. during the school year. They provide support, both financially, and behind the scenes in the stage productions. Learn more about the organization on the Stage Boosters page.
- Volunteer! Whether it is providing food, chaperoning, helping with tickets, assisting with costumes, makeup, or properties - every person counts and many hands make light work. Besides you will meet the nicest people! Contact Mrs. Steers to find out how you can help.
- Attend the performances and purchase your tickets in advance. Be sure to bring your friends and relatives! The students work very hard preparing for each production and it is so much more fun to perform to a full house! An added bonus...the more tickets sold the better the bottom line!
- Take out an ad in the production playbill. It can be an ad for your business, or a student support ad, or a generic support the Drama program ad. Regardless, program advertising is one important way production costs are covered.
- Become a production underwriter. Donations are always welcome!
- All of the Above!
New "Pay to Perform" Guidelines take effect for 2012-13
School Board budget cuts have impacted the EGRHS Drama program and
beginning with the 2012-13 school year a new "pay
to perform" policy has been implemented to help cover the costs
associated with EGRHS's Drama program. Stage Boosters will be contributing a
matching $25 for every student involved in drama for the year. However,
each drama student will be still be responsible for one or more activity
fees, depending on the number of productions they are involved in. Use
the
more info link above for a PDF of the complete policy. The
policies listed in this document are being reviewed and some changes may
be forthcoming for the 2013-14 school year. The revised policy will be outlined at the first Drama Club meeting and the
first Stage Boosters meeting on September 10, 2013. If you have further
questions, please contact Mrs. Steers.
