What Is Stage Boosters?

The EGRHS Stage Boosters is the parent support group for the High School Drama program. We meet during the school year at 6:30pm on the 1st Tuesday of the month in the Café Conference room and everyone is welcome! Stage Booster members receive production information and may purchase tickets in advance of the general public. We are a Michigan non-profit corporation recognized by the IRS as a 501C3 tax-exempt organization under federal tax law. Donations are fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

What Does Stage Boosters Do?

Stage Boosters provide volunteer services for the seven productions each year, including staffing the box office and tickets sales, providing food and snacks for students during rehearsals, coordinating the cast party, enlisting chaperones for rehearsals and cast party, coordinating costume needs with the director, handling general publicity and press releases for the productions and assisting the director with specific production needs. What Is Pay To Perform?

Due to continued limitations in state school funding, the district will continue Pay To Perform fees for our drama program. These fees go to the school district to pay for maintenance, custodial service, etc. for the PAC and the Little Auditorium. All other costs (costumes, publicity, sets, props, etc.) come from ticket sales, program advertising and donations made directly to the high school drama program.

Pay to Perform Fee Schedule

Fall Play, One Act Programs & Musicals are a $100 one-time fee each year for cast/crew no matter how many of this show type they are involved in with no fee for set construction, ushering or publicity.

24 Hour Theatre, Student Plays, Variety Shows & Winter Event are a $15 fee per show for cast/crew for each show involved in with a maximum of $160 per student(family max of $300) per year.

All show fees are due by the first rehearsal or first production meeting for each show. Checks should be made payable to EGR Public Schools.
