What the Stage Boosters Do:

Performing Arts Fundraiser: The Stage Boosters, together with the EGR Music Boosters has organized an annual event to raise funds to support the Performing Arts at East Grand Rapids High School. The fundraiser has featured a major performer or performance, exposing the student body and community-at-large to a variety of performing arts. Past events have featured The Second City Improv, the Grand Rapids Ballet, Rich Ridenour & Kathy Wagner, and stage productions of Beehive, Forever Plaid, and Altar Boyz.

Past Pantlind honorees include:

Provide Production Assistance: The organization provides volunteer services for the 6 productions each year including: staffing the Box Office and tickets sales for each production, providing food and snacks for students during rehearsals, coordinating the cast party, enlisting chaperones for rehearsals and the cast party, coordinating costume needs with the director, handling general publicity and press releases for the productions, and assisting the director with specific production needs. Contact Mrs. Steers to tell her how you would like to help out.

Scholarship Awards: Each year the Stage Boosters present scholarship awards to graduating thespian seniors for outstanding achievement and dedication to the dramatic arts. The Boosters maintain the thespian point system, and organize and sponsor the annual Thespian Society Induction and Awards ceremony, held in May.
